Turmeric on the floor. Dimensions Variable.


In this work, I utilise turmeric to create ephemeral maps of land on the floor, establishing a cartography that highlights the transient nature of territory and its representation. The grains of turmeric, struggling to remain contained within their structure, cultivate a space of tension that reflects the flux and permeability of borders. By introducing contradictions at a material level, I seek to uncover the inherent ambiguities and paradoxes within pervasive systems of control.
